Coach Operator of the Year 2010 - Commuter

Collins Coaches scooped one of the most coveted awards within the transport industry on Tuesday 6th October at the Marriot Johnstown House Hotel in Enfield Co. Meath. Fleet Bus and Coach “Coach Operator of the Year 2010 – Commuter Services” award was presented to Danny Collins of Collins Coaches in recognition of their Commuter Services to and from Dublin City. The firm beat off all other operators in the Republic of Ireland to win the award.  Speaking on behalf of the company, Danny Collins said “This is a fantastic award for our company, especially for all our staff who work so hard to ensure we provide a first class service to our customers. Despite the economic downturn we are continually striving to improve our business by purchasing new vehicles, adding additional departure times to our timetables and providing onboard facilities such as free WIFI”.

The Fleet Bus and Coach Awards were established to recognize excellence in operation or services to the road passenger transport industry.  150 representatives from the industry attended the event including delegates from the Road Safety Authority.
